What is Lead Recycle?
With Lead Recycle, you can call specific statuses of leads again at a specified interval
without resetting the entire list. Lead recycling is campaign-specific and does not have
to be a selected dialable status in your campaign.
How to Set Up Lead Recycle
-
Identify the dial statuses you want to recycle. List the most common
statuses that should be recycled — for example: Answering Machine, Busy, No Answer,
or Drop. -
Review existing campaign data (optional). If your campaign has been
running for a while, check the dial statuses from your campaign’s detail view and use
those as the basis for your lead recycle configuration. -
Navigate to Campaigns. From the eDialer administration dashboard, go
to Campaigns. - Open Lead Recycle. Select Lead Recycle from the campaign menu.
-
Select your campaign. Choose the campaign you want to configure and
click Modify. -
Choose the status to recycle. Select the dial status you want to
recycle from the drop-down menu. -
Set the Attempt Delay. This is the number of seconds that must pass
before the lead can be called again. The value can range from a minimum of
120 seconds up to 604,800 seconds (1 week). -
Set the Attempt Maximum. This is the maximum number of times a lead
with this status can be attempted before the list needs to be reset. The value can
range from 1 up to 10. - Click ADD to save the lead recycle rule.
Example Configuration
For instance, you could set the Answering Machine statuses (A and
AA) to an Attempt Delay of 3,600 seconds (1 hour)
with an Attempt Maximum of 10. This means any lead that reaches an
answering machine will be retried up to 10 times, with at least one hour between each
attempt — all without needing to reset your entire campaign list.
