Getting Started: What You Need
Because you will be working within the VICIdial interface, you will need a softphone application to handle audio — both sound and microphone. Supported softphones include:
- X-Lite
- Zoiper
- Eye-Beam
NOTE: Your agent credentials (username and password) will be provided by the eDialer’s manager or owner.
Step-by-Step: Logging In as an Agent
- Log in to the agent screen using Google Chrome.
- Click “VICIdial Log In.”
- Then click “Agent Login.”
- Type in your phone credentials.
- Then enter your user credentials.
- Choose your campaign from the dropdown field.
- You are now viewing the VICIdial Interface. You will notice the main call buttons are smaller, along with the customer information fields.
- The Script and Form tabs are both located at the top left of the page.
NOTE: This interface does not include the SMS/text tab, call history, or Google Maps.
Making an Outgoing Manual Dial
- For an outgoing manual dial, click the Manual Dial link at the bottom of the page.
- Leave the dial code set to 1 as is.
- Copy and paste the 10-digit phone number into the second field.
- Keep the checkbox checked if you want to pull any existing customer information that was previously uploaded in the dialer.
- Click the Dial Now link.
- Click the Hang Up Customer button when you are done with the call.
- The disposition buttons will appear. Choose your preferred disposition and click Submit.
- You are now active and ready to take your first call.
