To allow agents to log in to the ViciDial system, you need to create a user account. To complete this process, you will need administrator access.
- Go to Users. From the administration dashboard, navigate to Users.
- Click “Add a New User.”
-
Enter a user number and password.
NOTE: User IDs should be at least 3 to 8 characters in length. Avoid using zero as the first character of your user ID.
- Enter the agent’s full name. The full name field can be any name or identifier for the agent. This information is visible in the real-time report, which is useful when monitoring agents live. It also appears in the calling report when you download call data for the day.
- Set the user level. Typically, a fronter blended agent is set to level 1 access, a closer or second-tier agent to level 2, and administrator accounts to levels 8 or 9.
- Choose a user group. Select the appropriate user group from the dropdown. If this field is left blank, the user will not be able to log in to the agent screen.
- Leave phone user and password blank, then click Submit.
-
Review the additional user options. After clicking Submit, additional settings will appear.
NOTE: For an agent with user level 1 access, the remaining settings can be left at their defaults.
