After the exit code, enter the country code of the country you want to reach. Country codes are typically one to three digits and are unique to each nation — for example, the United Kingdom is 44 and Mexico is 52. -
Enter the area code.
Next, dial the area code for the specific region or city you are calling. Area codes vary in length — usually between one and six digits — and identify the geographic area within the destination country. -
Dial the local phone number.
Finally, enter the local phone number of the person or business you are trying to reach. At this point your international call is complete and will connect.
