How We Compare to Per-Agent Platforms
Most hosted call center platforms charge per agent per month — costs spiral fast as your team grows. eTollFree is flat-rate: add agents without watching your bill climb.
| Feature | eTollFree Hosted | Five9 | NICE CXone | Self-Host VICIdial |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starting price | $99/mo flat | ~$149/agent/mo | ~$100/agent/mo | $200–500/mo (server only) |

How much does call center software cost?
Across the market, outbound and contact-centre platforms are sold per agent per month, typically $25 to $175 depending on dialling modes, analytics and AI features. Enterprise suites run higher and quote by sales call. Here is what that means for a real team, alongside our flat plans:
| Team size | Per-agent platform (~$90/agent) | eTollFree hosted | You keep |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 agents | ~$450/mo | $99/mo | ~$4,200/yr |
| 10 agents | ~$900/mo | $99/mo | ~$9,600/yr |
| 25 agents | ~$2,250/mo | $249/mo | ~$24,000/yr |
| 30 agents | ~$2,700/mo | $249/mo | ~$29,400/yr |
Billed annually those plans drop again, to $83/mo and $211/mo — a 15% saving.
How much does a predictive dialer cost?
Predictive dialling is frequently sold as a tier upgrade rather than a standard feature, which is where quotes diverge. Published and reported 2026 rates: Five9 around $119–$159 per user (with a reported 50-seat minimum), PhoneBurner from about $140 per user, CloudTalk from about $19 per user on entry tiers, and Convoso quote-only at a reported ~$90 per user.
On our plans every dialling mode — predictive, power, preview and progressive — is included at $99/mo for up to 10 agents and $249/mo for up to 30. There is no predictive upgrade tier, because pacing is a setting rather than a product. The full breakdown of how the dialling modes differ is in our predictive dialer and auto dialer software guide.
What drives the cost of a call center up?
- Per-agent licensing. The single biggest factor, and the one that punishes seasonal or part-time staffing. Our plans price by band, not by seat, so adding a fifth agent to a 10-agent plan costs nothing.
- Seat minimums. Several enterprise platforms will not sell below 50 seats. Ours starts at one.
- Feature gating. Predictive mode, call recording, API access and reporting are common upgrade triggers. Recording and reporting are included on every plan here.
- Setup and migration fees. Common in this category, and $0 here.
- Infrastructure, if you self-host. Servers at $200–$500/mo, IT admin time at $500–$2,000/mo, and support contracts at $200–$500/mo — a realistic $900–$3,500+ before anyone dials.
- Telecom minutes, which are separate from software everywhere, including here — ask any vendor whether their quote includes them.
What does it cost to switch?
$0 in fees. There is no setup or migration charge, no contract to buy out on our side, and most teams are live in under an hour. Your existing numbers port across, your campaigns and lists are imported for you, and you can run in parallel while you cut over.
The costs worth checking are on your current provider's side: an annual contract you cannot exit, per-seat commitments already paid, and how long they take to release your numbers.
