After creating a user ID and reviewing user levels and admin interface options, there are three additional user settings that are equally important to configure: Agent Interface Options, Campaign Ranks, and Inbound Groups.
-
Agent Interface Options
The Agent Interface Options — accessible by clicking the inverted triangle — are settings that control the features available to an agent when they log into the eDialer Agent Interface.
Important: These settings are only refreshed at login time. If you make changes while an agent is already logged in, they will need to log out and back in again for the changes to take effect.
- A. Visible vs. Hidden Settings: By default, only the Agent Choose Ingroups and Closer Default Blended options are made visible to the admin user; the remaining settings are hidden but still accessible. The other settings can safely be left at their defaults.
- B. Agent Choose Ingroups: Enabling this setting allows the user to receive inbound (incoming) calls. Enabling Closer Default Blended in addition means the user can accept both inbound and outbound dialer calls. If you want the user to receive incoming calls only — without outbound eDialer calls — disable the Closer Default Blended option.
-
Campaign Ranks
Campaign Ranks define the user’s priority level for each outbound campaign. The available range is -9 to 9 for outbound call prioritization. The higher the value you assign to a user, the greater the number of outbound calls that user will receive.
-
Inbound Groups
The checkboxes listed under Inbound Groups determine which incoming call queues or groups the user is assigned to. Select the appropriate checkboxes to control which inbound calls the user will receive.
